Bongout Gallery opens up an Exhibition which will be part of the Pictopia (Pictoplasma) Exhibitions.Welcome! Welcome to the Brave New World. Robin Hood? That was yesterday. These days the rich take it from the poor. Bongout Gallery presents funny, wild and absurd stories on fallen heroes and anti-heroes on the rise.All the works in this exhibition are about lonely figures, exceptional encounters and weird situations in life. In other words, about what the world needs: losers who struggle with daily life like heroes.

Movie Posters from Ghana
Eröffnung: Mittwoch den 06. Februar 2008, 19 Uhr
Der Bongout Ausstellungsraum eröffnet mit handgemalten Filmplakaten aus Ghana. Diese Ölgemälde (genauer gesagt: Ölfarbe auf Kartoffelsackstoff) warben einst für ein Wanderkino, anhand dessen Filme in Schulen, Privathäusern, Clubs oder — je nach Wetterlage —
auch im Freien gezeigt werden konnten. Bei den originellen und teils amüsanten Motiven handelt es sich meist um übersteigerte Darstellungen der tatsächlichen Inhalte.

Mingmekka presents selected concert photographs (Pelican, Mediengruppe Telekommander, Burial Chamber Trio and Les Savy Fav) at Bis Aufs Messer Recordstore and Gallery.
